Contract Info -

We are pleased you have reached this point, and are considering using the NY NJ Kids Directory
to help grow your business. Please begin by contacting us, and letting us help you get started.
Many of our clients keep in touch with us by e-mail, this makes ad image transfer fast and easy,
especially at deadline time when everyone seems to be running behind. We consider all email
discussion to be binding, and a written contract will follow. If a prospective client does not
have access to email, all discussion can be done by mail, or phone. Again, a written contract
will follow.

Our contract is very short, and straight forward. We simply state the Run Time you agree to
and the Monthly Cost of running the ad. And the One Time design fee. Initial changes and
corrections Included. ( Changes to the ad once completed, carry a fee or $25. or less. And cover
the time our Designer spends making changes. ) We will ask for a signature, and that it be mailed
back to us. Payment terms ( billing ) are Monthly, we do not require full term payment up front
However, we will expect first payment with a signed contract.
NY NJ Kids Directory reserves the right to refuse ads we see as inappropriate for the Kids
Directory. All printed material falls under our copyright.

Ads designed for your business by Kids Directory Graphic Artist are for use in the
Kids Directory only, and may not be used in other advertising areas unless written permission
is given by Kids Directory Publishers, or the ads designing artist. Use of an ad in this way
will result in an invoice sent to you for the time spent developing the ad for outside use,
and can be very expensive !



Run Times, Minimums, And Deadlines -

Ads can run as short a 2 consecutive months, or you may run month, after month until the end of
time. The rate table below shows two price columns, one for the 2 month minimum, and another
for longer run times. Because of a reduction in printing costs, a longer commitment will bring
a price reduction. ( Ad run times are still consecutive months ) We do not run ads for less
than the two month minimum, except for Special Community events.

Deadlines - Our very busy time..... We have a deadline every 2 months, and our directory
is printed for two months at that time. For example, our deadline at the beginning of Sept.
is for those directories printed for both Oct. and Nov. And our early Nov. Deadline is for the
Dec. and January issues. What does this mean for me ?
Each advertiser must decide for the next 2 months, how they wish their ad to look.
And make their commitment for those two months at that time as well.



Ad Format - Gif's - Jpeg's - Text , and Fonts -

I'll say it again, we have a very talented designer working with us, All the ads, and the
AWESOME cover are all his work. If you provide us with a logo, or other graphic, and the text
message you wish your ad to say, we can design you a Beautiful Business Building COLOR ad.
If you have an ad ready, and want to use it, and wish to email it to us. We will be asking for
an image of the following ( one type only not one of each ); Jpg, or Jpeg, .Gif, .Pdf, or
Photoshop .Psd, with or without layers. in the highest Quality setting, and at
300 DPI ( Dots Per Inch ) Resolution. File size should be less than 3 MB.



Size And Effectiveness -

The phrase " bigger is better " does not always apply. A smaller ad has the potential of saying
more. Its not necessary to include every bit of information there is about your business, to get
a response. Think about what makes your business stand out when contrasted to others.
This would make your ad, an Effective ad, which can say more than a Big ad.

One of our advertisers reporting an outstanding response to their Kids Directory ad, has a
1/2 page ad, and makes changes, or announces special offers for each Print Cycle.
Another advertiser reporting very strong response from their ad, adds holiday specials
to their ad for the major holidays.
Yet another, has a 1/8 page ad, and enjoys outstanding response from the companion ad
on our internet edition. One thing remains common among these advertisers, each has
made a long term commitment to the directory, works with us to tracks response, and make
appropriate changes to improve effectiveness.

Late fees of $20. apply after 20 days. Later include interest of 21% ( same as CC )
applied to balance + the $20. late fee. After 70 adds any collection effort fees.
