Hello:
We would like to thank you for stopping in, and taking an interest in our magazine.
Cindy, and Greg, the publishers, were born and grew up in Tappan, a town in Rockland
County. Both have gone to school, and began their working careers within the county.
Like a growing number of Americans, as we got older, we want a little more than just
a job, especially in these shaky times. Little by little we have begun building a home
and a work place within our home. When the opportunity to take over the Kids Directory
presented itself, we decided that it would be a great complement to our other work at
home endeavors.
Cindy, a true " people person " has an extensive background in client services. She has
been head of both accounting departments, inventory control, planning, and budgeting for
some large companies in Northern New Jersey. She has a daughter in school, and has often,
been in search of the same informative ' stuff ' we include in the Kids Directory. Cindy
brings a kind touch, creativity, and a wonderful level of fairness to our company, one
that is missing in many of todays large corporations.
Greg, not much of a people person I have been a landscaper for most of my life. Although
I love it, its time for a change. I have, over the last few years taken a great interest
in computers. Although I have been seen outside of the office, My duties are more
technical in nature. I help our graphic artist set up pages for print, maintain this
website, and make the office computer do tricks when no one is looking. I have also
graduated from Oklahoma State University with minor studies in Marketing, advertising
and finance. Items that will have a positive impact on this publication.
Eric, Our outside contracted graphic artist has been working with this publication since
its first printing. All of the creative, colorful ads within have been designed by him.
Both we, and the magazines previous owners owe a lot to his creative eye for also
designing a bright colorful cover each month that invites people to pick up our
publication.
As we begin our new career as associate publishers of the Kids Directory we have devoted
our resources towards making this magazine much more than it is now. It is our desire to
increase its value to each of our advertisers, and to include more community information
which I believe will bring it into more homes, more often, and with more useful information
each month.
If you can see your name fitting into one of these listed here, then you may want to be an
associate publisher yourself. Take a look at The Kids Directory parent site, and see if
there is an opportunity to become a Kids Directory publisher for the town you live in.
In closing, I would like to say thank you to all of our advertisers, and thank you to all
the people who currently pick up and use the Kids Directory each month. Especially
those of you who remember to say " I found your ad in the Kids Directory ". I invite
